In cooperation with Melliferopolis and Aalto University, Till Bovermann installed piezo-based microphones into beehives of the temporary Hexa-Hive Villages at Otaniemi Aalto Campus, near Ossinlampi (2013) and Tarja Halosen puisto in the Helsinki city (2016).
He invited international sound artists to use the live sounds from the bee colonies as raw material for improvised soundscapes and live music at a sound picnic around the hives.
